Daily Texan Coverage of Gun Violence Panel

I enjoyed participating in a discussion about gun violence hosting by Texas Lyceum at the LBJ Library in Austin.  The panel was moderated by Rico Reyes of the Lyceum and other panelists included former U.S. Attorney Johnny Sutton, who served under President George W. Bush and Pflugerville Superintendent Charles Dupre.  It was a civil conversation in which I spoke about the importance of striking a balance between reasonable restrictions to prevent gun violence and the 2nd Amendment right to bear arms.
